Production Process

Here was my first rough cut. Paul wanted to see what I had edited so far. The full video wasn't finished so most of the feedback that I received was expected.

Rough Cut Number 2

This second cut was what I believed at the time was going to be the final version. After rewatching I agreed with Paul that the intro needed to be changed as well as the music.

Rough Cut Number 3

For my final version, I remade the intro, tried to change the music and made any final changes to the video. I wrote a script that I got Jordan to read and then added some cinematic music and added archive footage as well. I also agreed with Paul that the music needed some work so I tried to search for music to suit my documentary better but I couldn't find any. I even tried to create my own on garage band but I couldn't create anything that suited the style that I wanted. Finally, I removed some footage that I felt dragged on for too long. For example, I removed the Klopp interview as I felt it took away from the achievement as he was talking about all the positives from the first game when I wanted that to feel negative.

Rough Cut Number 4

For my final edit, I only had to tweak some minor problems with some ineligible audio, a spelling mistake (typical me) and fixing the layout of the credits. The screen grabs below show the tweaks in more detail. These were relatively simple and I was actually able to do this from home while self isolating which was great as before I have really struggled to get Premiere Pro to work.
